Summary

Storyboard produces videos that companies can use across their organization, spanning from sales and marketing to human resources and investor relations. We use a combination of stock footage, motion graphics, animation, text-on-screen, and client-provided assets to create our videos. Do you have a passion for video editing, motion graphics, creating custom animations, and crafting corporate content for diverse audiences, all while being an integral part of a collaborative team? If so, this opportunity might be the perfect fit for you. We are seeking full-time remote Motion Graphic Designers/Media Editors to join the Storyboard team. As a crucial part of our content creation strategy, you should take pride in your ability to collaborate effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines. You should also be adept at generating ideas and executing them to final release. Our videos vary in style—some are made entirely with stock footage, while others focus on animations and motion graphics, and many blend the two. It’s crucial to be skilled and comfortable using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects for all these types.

Description

  • Turn raw/stock footage into videos that are on brand, captivate audiences, and transform them into something complex, elegant, and impactful.
  • Create high-quality motion graphics, animations, and effects in Adobe After Effects. Proficiency in rotoscoping, tracking, masking, and overlays is necessary.
  • Edit large amounts of footage into short videos (1-4 minutes on average) that clients can use for their sales, marketing, human resources, and corporate communications.
  • Efficiently execute motion graphics design requests based on each client’s requirements, ensuring tasks stay within scope and on schedule
  • Work with Team Leads to realize the full potential of each video project.
  • Be available to work full-time during your shift, responding promptly to communications from team members.
  • Select and edit music/audio to complement video visuals.
  • Creating custom animated text and titles based on video briefing.
  • Meet strict deadlines and demands of the client media cycle while also reacting and adapting to shifting workloads.
  • Be primarily responsible for video post-production.
  • Work with Storyboard leadership to develop and champion promotional content for events, products, and clients.

Qualification

  • Great communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-Starter, able to work independently.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with stock footage and music licensing and the Frame.io review platform.
  • Must have animation/motion graphics explainer experience.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
