In this engaging new opportunity, as part of a result driven team and reporting to the CEO. As the Farm Manger of MDNI Farms, you will contribute by building and implementing animal husbandry strategies in breeding, nutrition and record keeping that support our livestock breeding operations in Nigeria. This Farm Manager shall support the execution of MDNI Farms breeding strategies and contributes to business results by supporting the leadership in the delivery of safe, reliable operations. Fostering a productive and engaged workforce and in supporting the day-to-day operations of MDNI Farms

• Minimum Qualification: Degree
• Experience Level: Entry level
• Experience Length: 2 years

• Analyzing existing operations, livestock, staff, and financial documents and recommending improvements.
• Preparing plans and schedules for feeding, breeding, kidding and ensuring staff understands expectations.
• Visiting the different divisions to inspect livestock and also execute routine vaccination as per schedule.
• Ensuring minerals, supplements, pesticides, and other livestock supplies are regularly restocked.
• Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery as may be required 
• Handling the marketing and sale of products produced on the farm like goat kids, poultry, dairy, meat, and feeds.
• Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety regulations on the farm.
• Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff members.
• Collaborating with executive to prepare budgets and financial reports.
• Building professional networks and keeping abreast of developments in agricultural science.

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, animal science, or equivalent.
• Additional courses in business management or administration are recommended.
• Extensive experience in a farming-related field.
• Management experience would be a plus.
• A passion for agriculture.
