Our Research, Technology, and Innovation (RTI) division is seeking highly motivated and skilled network transmission engineers to join our team. In this roles, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our high-performance network infrastructure, supporting the critical communication needs of our research and innovation

• Experience Level: Mid level
• Experience Length: 3 years

• Lead and manage a team of network transmission engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining the NNPC's network infrastructure.
• Develop and implement network transmission strategies and solutions to meet the evolving needs of the RTI division.
• Conduct in-depth network analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve network performance issues.
• Configure and manage network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in network transmission technologies (e.g., SD-WAN, MPLS).
• Provide technical guidance and support to researchers and staff on network connectivity and communication requirements.
• Document network configurations and procedures for future reference.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 3 years of experience in network transmission engineering.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale network infrastructures.
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and network security concepts.
• In-depth knowledge of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and configuration tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• A valid professional certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is a plus
