Our client, an FMCG company, is looking to hire a Credit Control Manager, who will manage a team that Manages the complete O2C cycle. The credit function plays a vital role in the finance department to ensure that invoices are paid on time and the company’s debts are secured. Must have experience in FMCG and ICAN certified

  • Minimum Qualification: Degree
  • Experience Level: Senior level
  • Experience Length: 5 years

Description

  • Manage a team of Credit Control Officers
  • Formulate the company's credit policy
  • Review credit applications and references
  • Prepare journal entries and credit notes
  • Meet and negotiate terms with debt collection agencies
  • Manage write-offs, bad debt provisions, and payment plans
  • Assist accounts team
  • Review processes to reduce debtor days
  • Upload prices in the system and communicate with the Sales Team
  • Coordinate with warehousing and sales support providers
  • Compute sales incentives and credit notes
  • Manage customer support staff
  • Resolve customer disputes and reconcile accounts

Qualification

  • Experience in credit control and accounts receivable
  • Working knowledge of credit control
  • ICAN certification
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
