Junior Production Associate (Commis Chef)

We are looking to hire a professional Commis Chef (Junior Production Associate) who can delight our customers with excellent food preparation, according to Eden's recipes and specifications. At Eden, we are on a mission to delight our customers with healthy, delicious food that is always on time.

• Minimum Qualification: Diploma
• Experience Level: Entry level
• Experience Length: 1 year

• Accurately measure meal ingredients for each station for cook unit.
• Maintain a well organized, high performing prep station that achieves prep goals daily and overall team goals.
• Preparing meal ingredients, which includes seasoning of different meats as well as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, and fruits, and other food types according to Eden's standards.
• Cook or prep basic meal items as directed by Senior production team members (chefs).
• Receive deliveries and verify that all ordered items have been delivered are of good quality.
• Support inventory activities and notify the inventory unit of low or depleted supplies.
• Maintain hygiene standards and perform basic cleaning duties to ensure that work stations are properly sanitized.
• Supervise junior production team members on assigned station; drive growth, learning, and accountability.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a smooth and friendly work environment.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

• Secondary school education - WASSCE.
• Diploma, or certification in Culinary Arts is a plus.
• Proven commercial kitchen experience or internship.
• Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
• Great physical health.
• The ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
