Checkoff Finance is a fast-growing consumer lender business that leverages internal and external technology platforms to deliver great customer experience. Our tech ecosystem consists of 3 middleware for Loan Origination, Investment and Payment Processing. Checkoff integrates its core application and middleware to several REST APIs. You'll play a vital role in upgrading, maintaining, and extending our middleware systems and integrations. This is a hands-on position with significant responsibility for delivering reliable and scalable solutions that help our processes.

• Experience Level: Mid level
• Experience Length: 2 years

• Upgrade and maintenance of Loan Origination System and other middleware’s.
• Design and implement new features to enhance functionality and scalability.
• Integration with Switch, KYC Services and other fintech’s.
• Integration with credit bureaus and other credit databases.
• Channel maintenance; web and mobile app.
• Upgrade of core banking/ lending application and relevant APIs.

• 2 - 3 year’s experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, and Node.js (Express.js is a significant plus).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks.
• Proven track record of successful API development and integrations.
• Familiarity with various authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
• Previous experience working in a team.
• Collaborative with a focus on iterative and fast delivery approach.
• Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Patterns and Concepts
• Familiarity with different design and architectural patterns.
