Our Client is looking to hire a suitable candidate to fill this position

  • Minimum Qualification:HND
  • Experience Level:Mid level
  • Experience Length:3 years

Description

  • Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales
  • Study each recipe and gather all the necessary ingredients.
  • Cook food in a timely manner.
  • Keep the kitchen environment tidy at all times
  • Inform wait staff about daily specials.
  • Ensure appealing plate presentation.
  • Monitor food stock and place orders.
  • Ensuring quality of ingredients and correct food storage
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.

Qualification

  • Proven work experience as a Chef or Cook
  • Any other form of certification in catering would be of added advantage.
  • Ability to prepare Calabar and Igbo delicacies 
  • At least 3 years of work experience in similar role 
  • Good and effective communication skills 
  • Good time management skills to complete much tasks 
  • Good personal hygiene and good health record.
