Summary

To conduct project sales, by following up with Project Team (project officers) and with key customer accounts from prospection till payment receipt, preparing sales offers, auditing sales files, pricing accurately, following up on pricing, and effectively communicating with the customers to understand their needs and efficiently coordinating internally, to deliver the right product and satisfy the customer's need

Description

  • Prospect for new opportunities, by coordinating with research for potentials, visiting customers to find new opportunities, continuously meeting potential with customers, and reporting on new products or services in the market (competitive or relevant to the company products or services), to get more leads and stay ahead in the market.
  • Prepare sales offers and quotations, if the customer request is a standard product, by attaining the needed information from the customers, preparing technical offers based on prices from Sales Engineer, and presenting to Area Manager for approval, to have documented offers for future referencing.
  • Coordinating with Factory, stores, and maintenance to plan the production and deliveries of bulk POs and monitor the plan if it's abided to
  • Follow up with Project officers and ensure proper communication of all sales-related documents, by authenticating these documents, auditing and confirming all needed customer and management signatures, monitoring distributing as should to related departments for processing, following up on the sales documentation till completion (sending of documents from branches to the head office until project account department receive them) when is requested and supervising filing adequately for future retrieval, to ensure no issues arise due to errors of miscommunication or delays in production and delivery.
  • Offer proper prices to customers, upon reviewing customers' portfolios and acquiring the matching prices from the price lists provided by the Area Manager, to avoid wrong prices being given to customers.
  • Supervise the Coordination of the delivery and installation of sold generators to customers, by following up with all project officers, concerned personnel, and related departments
  • Follow up with the project’s account department, for updating of documents status, invoicing, and submission of invoices to customers, then following up with customers on payment status and updates, to ensure proper closure of the project.
  • Updating management on all Project department activities by sharing sales reports, operational reports, and invoicing reports. Also preparing sales forecasts, preparing and monitoring projects expenses and budgets, and proposing new ideas to improve the development of the project department
  • Represent the company and ensure proper communication with the customers, by building a good rapport, being available to respond to the customer's inquiries, and showing goodwill to constantly understand and support customer's needs, to enhance sales and after-sales support.
  • Attend exhibitions related to the company’s field of work, by visiting stands and communicating with potential customers, to network and market the company's name and image as part of increasing sales plan.

Qualification

  • Minimum academic qualification of BSC/HND degree in any discipline 
  • 3 - 5 years of experience
