The major role of the Shipping Manager is one of business leadership, both for the operational and sales organizations. Hence, the major purpose of the position is to ensure profitable growth, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, employee development and leadership, and customer retention. All tasks, authorities, and responsibilities are subject to approval by area management.

• Minimum Qualification:Degree
• Experience Level:Management level
• Experience Length:10 years

• Responsibility for all shipping operations.
• Prepare all documentation relative to shipping.
• Ensure good communication between shipping staff and other departments in the company.
• Make a proper plan for the operation.
• Interface between operation staff and management.
• Interface between authorities and management.
• Monitor, maintain, and constantly enhance the company’s position and reputation with the regulatory authorities at the port.
• Solve operation matters.
• Obtain monthly statements of account from NPA, and NMA as well as the terminal operators.
• Steer monthly reconciliation with NPA and NMA;
• Prepare weekly reports to management.
• Prepare file for invoicing.
• Maintain good relationships with our customers and with the authorities.
• Ensure good relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure an efficient service is supplied to clients, and shipping and transport companies.
• Ensure budgets are not overspent.
