We are looking to hire an Electrical Engineer for our client, a reputable organization in the Oil and Gas sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of electrical systems, and applications. He/she will also work with a technical team on company construction projects.

• Minimum Qualification: Degree
• Experience Level: Mid level
• Experience Length: 2 years

• Design and improvement of electrical instruments and equipment, for increased efficiency and energy savings.
• Establishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
• Maintenance of electrical equipment and facilities for optimal performance.
• Ensure that electrical installations and operations conform to regulatory standards. 
• Collaborate with engineers and the rest of the technical team to deliver construction projects on time.
• Preparing specifications for procurement of electrical equipment and materials.
• Estimating material, labour, or construction costs for budget preparation.
• Perform quality and performance analysis on new and legacy IT systems 
• Monitor maintenance and inspection plans, to ensure full compliance
• Preparation of reports on electrical test findings.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years post NYSC experience in a similar role
• Licensed as a professional engineer.
• Proficient in design and calculation software.
• Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work within budgets
• Sound mathematical, scientific, and IT skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
