We are looking to hire an organized, analytical Auditor to help us examine our current policies and procedures and help us develop strategies to improve our internal control systems. The job holder reports to the Head, Internal Audit Department.

• Minimum Qualification: HND
• Experience Level: Mid level
• Experience Length: 2 years

• Conduct regular branch audit based on communicated audit plan
• Respond to audit explanations from supervisor
• Carry out audit procedures and substantive test in line with internal audit guidelines
• Engage in field audit and evaluation of operations on the field in line with audit checklist
• Carry out monthly risk – based audit of assigned branches
• Respond to audit queries and provide clarification on material audit evidence
• Work in line with audit procedures and guidelines in regular and third line of defence audits.
• Review customers’ passbooks, loan forms, other documentations in line with KYC principles and internal control system.
• Group meetings evaluation and reporting according to audit checklists.
• Carry out monthly review of branch payroll before approval.
• A regular check of staff attendance and reporting to work.
• Conduct special investigation according to the recommendations of Head Internal Audit.

• HND or bachelor’s degree with a minimum of second class lower division (2:2) in Finance related field (Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, etc)
• Professional qualifications - ACA, ACCA, CFA, etc.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in Internal Audit in a related environment.
• He must be able to work in a fast-paced financial environment.
• He must be willing to travel and work in different parts of Nigeria.
• He must possess good communication skills – the ability to write quality and coherent reports for management information and decision.
