Summary

We are a specialist engineering organisation located in the heart of Lagos. We are currently sourcing for Technical Sales Engineers to join our team and support the day-to-day activities of our Commercial Department. The responsibilities of this role include engineering sales and assisting the Commercial Department to achieve sales target that profitably impacts the bottom line of the Organisation. To be successful in this role, you should have solid selling skills and be familiar with sales and marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will ensure all Commercial activities and operations result in new leads, new clients, sustenance of existing clients, and increased revenue for the Organisation.

Description

  • Ensure growth in sales volume of the department by deepening relationships with existing customers and acquiring new customers. 
  • Provision of relevant technical support & information that will increase/optimize the reliability, convenience, and total cost of ownership of equipment/production lines of  Customers. 
  • Prepare sales reports of our products and solutions by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and application trends. 
  • Assist in market research on products, markets, and competition throughout West Africa 
  • Lead client conversations through emails, phone calls, and in-person meetings
  • Develop sales proposals and strategies to drive the sales process 
  • Perform technical surveys and audits on client sites to determine requirements for  engineering solutions 
  • Organise and attend trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings 
  • Organise regular sales visits to new and existing customers across Nigeria and West  Africa. 

Qualification

  • A graduate degree in engineering preferably in electrical & electronics, mechanical, or production. 
  • At least 2 - 5 years of proven work experience, preferably in engineering sales or technical sales within FMCG, Beverage, Cement, Oil & Gas, Flour Mill, and Pharma industry
  • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices  
  • Certification in sales or marketing is an added advantage
