The job holder provides technical support to resolve user’s computer hardware and software problems to include password reset, VPN connections, provide admin permissions and installation of software and update

Description

  • Communicates with users via landline, mobile phone, Microsoft Teams, email, and all other available communication platforms to resolve all users’ technical issues.
  • Responsible for setting up new workstations and installation and set-up of new hardware, software, and all related software for all employees including, but not limited to Parallels, Printers, VPN, Microsoft Office, Adobe creativity cloud download, TeamViewer, Chrome remote
  • Maintains trouble ticket log to provide an accurate record of support services provided to end users
  • Required to provide remote user training on basic IT functionality
  • Responsible for maintaining the company share folder and updating it on a regular basis.
  • Tracking and maintenance of updated information related to companywide inventory.
  • Tracking and notifications to the leadership of vehicle service requirements as prompted by LinxUp
  • Maintains key role in conversion from paper to digital office platform
  • Responsible for recommendations for repairs and/or replacements of malfunctioning or defective company-issued IT Equipment
  • Maintains knowledge of technical innovations, trends, and best practices; makes recommendations for new software and hardware.
  • Performs other necessary duties as assigned.

Qualification

  • Verizon: Oversee the account user, update the username and verify active and inactive lines
  • Linx Up: Assigned Users, generate reports on vehicles, maintain vehicle maintenance Log
  • Lighthouse: Resetting passwords for users, generating reports, and deleting inactive or terminated employees
  •  Microsoft 365  Provide admin support for MS office including Teams, Share Point & one drive, Adobe
