Description

  • Being the arrowhead of the Maintenance Team 
  • Carry out periodic inspection of buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations. Ensure that all facilities, equipment,  furniture & fittings, and all other assets are safe and well-functioning. 
  • Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency and ensure a  safe working environment without downtime  
  • Ensure standard and effective asset & inventory management and  control at all times to guarantee that assets are properly purchased,  repaired, or disposed of, following internal workflows and procedures
  • Set up and ensure to put policies, systems, and structures in place  towards running best practices 
  • Compare costs for various services before choosing the best options for  the facility 
  • Oversee building projects, renovations or refurbishments, and relocations 
  •  Report directly to the Director 
  • Introduce new innovations in the facility  
  • Introduce and implement an automated management system 
  • Advice business measures to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure the smooth and effective operation of all units: Environmental  service Unit, Maintenance Unit 
  • Allocate and manage space in the facilities set up health and safety  practices, etc 
  • Advice business measures to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness. 
  • Analyze, record, and report asset transactions to maintain the currency  of financial data/records for Fixed Assets, Identify any irregularities that  may negatively impact asset accounts
  • Set up a computerized management system within the facility
  • Liaise with external vendors and contractors on behalf of the company. 
  • Develop and implement a facility management program including preventive maintenance and life cycle requirements.  
  • Ensure prompt repairs and maintenance of all assets, carry out  renovations, refurbishments, and building projects, supervise external  contractors working in the church facility  
  • Ensure that facilities meet government regulations and environmental,  health and safety standards; payment of government levies as at when due 
  • Respond to emergencies or other urgent issues involving the facilities
  • Conduct regular facility inspections; report and make proper  recommendations for improvements  
  • Prepare weekly and timely Asset management and Maintenance reports

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least a 2:1 grade in Engineering or technical  related field 
  • Must be a registered member of the International Facility Management  Association, Nigeria (IFMA)  
  • Minimum of seven (7) years work experience in the Facility management  space, with at least half of that time spent in a Supervisory role
